Oh my god. Where has the time gone? Sitting here with a tanned Brit, at OR Tambo airport, about to fly back to London.
And am behaving like most Saffas that live in the UK. Am emotional, teary-eyed and depressed. Who'd a thunk it.
South Africa, as a tourist, was absolutely wonderful. Three weeks off work was too much; I am anxious and dreading to be back under solemn grey skies.
It'll be fine, of course it will. But it is always sad to say goodbye.
