Dude.

I've been reading a book my French mate passed onto me. Skinny Bitch it's called.

It's about being skinny, not scrawny. But has this sort of no-nonsense way of spelling out what you should and shouldn't eat, and they use the word 'fuck' a lot.

They're obnoxious. It makes for entertaining diet reading.

I have been tickled pink, and until last night, was devouring the book like a low-cal salad.

Then there was a whole chapter dedicated to animal products. ie, milk and meat.

Dude.

I didn't sleep last night. I made the Brit read it so he could understand why I was crying and performing and carrying on.

It was absolutely devastating. Whether they're lying or telling the truth, it worked.

I am gutted.

The chapter talked about what happens in a slaughterhouse. I don't think I need to reproduce what they said, read it for yourself, if you dare/can stomach it.

They took quotes from people who worked there, and went into detail by detail the kind of things animals are subjected to before they die.

Dude.

It's going to be a long time until I eat a piece of meat or drink milk again. I just can't bear to look at it. I am absolutely in shock.
