I finally buckled.

I bought Kate Middleton's wedges.

The Duchess still shops from high street stores - albeit nice ones, not Primark - and her LK Bennett wedges were my integration back into sisal heels.

Aren't they lovely?
I am now walking in the princess' shoes.
